Introduction
The beautiful setting for this magical wedding was a horse pasture adjacent to the house. We terraced the gently sloping field and built thick stone walls in long ribbons that faded into the hillside. The walls were built without mortar and planted with a mix of wildflowers including yarrow, clarkia and poppies. Perennial borders grace the entry stairs. The meadow grass requires only once a season mowing and will eventually be replaced by an olive grove.
